GrainGenes Database

- 30,000 BLAST hits for 1011 BCD, CDO and WHE sequences. E.g. Sequence BCD9_WHE1F0042. In the graphic, wider bars indicate higher BLAST scores.

- Updated Triticum turgidum 6A and 6B maps, from Gary Hart Map_Data "T.turgidum, durum x dicoccoides".

- Updated Triticum aestivum 6D, from Gary Hart Map_Data "Wheat Synthetic x Opata".

- Updated rye map, from Perry Gustafson Map_Data "Rye, UC90 x E-line".

- "Mapped and BLASTed sequences" Clones that are mapped and that also have BLAST homology to GenBank sequences. These are equivalent to the pink-highlighted Loci on the genetic Maps.

GrainGenes Database

EST Sequence data with corresponding BLAST search results have been placed in the database for a collection of the CDO and BCD mapping probes. A sampling of wheat endosperm EST sequences have also been included. The BLAST displays work well in the local installment version of the databse; some problems have been experienced with the WWW version.
