2. To provide as much as possible information on the WEB.

Goal 3. Account of activities
1. USA barley community trying to secure NSF funding for barley genome physical mapping (Kleinhofs, Muehlbauer)
2. On going attempt to secure additional fund (NSF) to develop additional Triticeae BAC libraries (Dvorak et al.) including Morex (2 other enzymes) and T. spontaneum.
3. Mapping of 1200 ESTs and cDNAs on barley BACs (Kleinhofs et al.)
4. BAC contig of chromosome 1 (7H) 30cM region (Kleinhofs)
5. Map-based cloning of scald (7H) (Roeder)
6. Map-based cloning of BaYMV (3H) (Graner)
7. Map-based cloning of dwarfing gene (2H) (Graner)
8. Mapping 500-800 ESTs (Altschmied)
9. Map-based cloning for genes involved in flower and leaf development (Salamini)
10. Mapping of the Glu-1 and Glu-3 loci in wheat (USA)
