For images: A template file constructed in MS PowerPoint is located here: ((AutoTemplate.ppt)). Once autorad images have been scanned/photographed, the corresponding images may be cut and pasted into the template. Please make sure that the first lane aligns with the first label, and that the last lane aligns with the last label. You may go beyond the right guideline border to include the band markings directly from the autoradiograph. The image may be stretched horizontally to make the alignments agree. Please try to fit the image within the dotted lines of the template. Don't forget to add the Probe_ID to the template (Rounded Arial MT 12pt bold for uniformity). Save the image as (1) a PowerPoint Presentation for your local records and as (2) a JPEG file for the project records. Use the IMAGES upload link to upload your JPEG file (you may also upload the PowerPoint image if desired). You may view the uploaded files by following the viewing links provided below. If you print your image locally, remember to checkmark the "fit image to page" box.
For data: A spreadsheet saved as a tab-delimited file should be used for entering the data which corresponds to the uploaded image files. The tab delimited data will be used to construct data files for uploading into a database which will be available to project members for perusal. Please do not deviate from the agreed on data format as this information will be parsed out with a computer program. Remember to save your spreadsheet data to a tab-delimited text file. Use the DATA upload link to upload your text file. You may view the uploaded files by following the viewing links provided below.
