| Linkage analysis was carried out on 72 chromosome-doubled haploid spring type lines produced by the bulbosum technique from the F1 generation of a cross between single plants of the spring barley Alf and the winter barley Vogelsanger Gold. The entire population consisted of 90 lines including 18 winter types. |
| Recombination frequencies between all pairs of markers were calculated and linkage maps were constructed as described in Jensen (1987). |
