Remarks	127 new SSRs from barley were named GBMS for 'Gatersleben Barley MicroSatellite, and mapped on two populations: Igri x Franka (this data set) and Steptoe x Morex (see 'Barley, Steptoe x Morex, SSR'). Confirmation of chromosome assignment was done on wheat (cv. 'Chinese Spring') / barley (cv. 'Betzes') addition lines. Primer sequences for these SSRs are proprietary and those interested should contact Marion Roeder. Raw locus data contain additional mapping data for markers from the SCRI which may be useful for the formation of consensus maps. The data were created by Jingzhao Li, Tatyana Sjakste and Martin Ganal. Mapping scores are for progeny lines 1-16, 18-33, 50-52, 54-60, and 88-118. In the mapping scores A=Franka, B=Igri.
