Mapping population comprised 74 F`2`:F`3` families from a cross between a cultivated einkorn wheat and a wild Lebanese accession. Position of centromere was based on telocentric analysis. A common set of probes mapped on the short arm of chromosome 1 in this and another population of T. monococcum and in populations of T. aestivum and T. turgidum revealed colinear loci. However, the XNor locus was more distal in T. monococcum than in the other species.
