| Mapping population comprised 92 recombinant substitution lines from a cross between 'Langdon'durum and a disomic substitution line of chromosome 1B from T. dicoccoides in 'Langdon.' Position of centromere was inferred from telocentric analysis. A common set of probes mapped on the short arm of chromosome 1 in two populations of T. monococcum and on 1BS in populations of T. aestivum and T. turgidum revealed colinear loci. However, the XNor locus was more distal in T. monococcum, compared to the other species. A = Langdon allele; B = dicoccoides allele; - = missing datum. Loci XGli3, XChs3, X5SDna, and Xbcd98 are completely linked. Loci XNor, XTri, Xcdo1173, Xbcd446, Xbcd200, and XEsi47 are completely linked. |
