Remarks	132 new markers were mapped using anonymous probes from 14 wheat varieties. Probes were selected for their readable hybridization pattern and revealing RFLP among wheat varieties. Mapping was performed in a subset of 71 recombinant inbred lines derived by single-seed descent (F8) from the cross of the synthetic hexaploid, W7984, x Opata85. This is the International Triticeae Mapping Initiative (ITMI) reference population. Data were analyzed using MAPMAKER version 2.0. The 'order' and 'build' commands were used and markers whose order was established at a LOD of 2.0 were assigned exact positions on the maps while the remainder were placed in the best fit interval using the 'try' command, and are placed to the right on the maps.
