| | A sample of brown rust (P. recondita f.sp. tritici (P. hordei)) collected from Agra local, in Trap Plot Nursery in Akola, Maharashtra, India, in March 2002, produced infection types different from the pathotypes maintained at national repository. This pathotype, 93R47, is different from pathotype 93R15 in being virulent on Lr26 and from pathotype 93R7 for virulence on Lr26 and Thew (Lr20). Pathotype 93R47 differs from pathotypes of race group 12. The avirulence/virulence formula for pathotype 93R47 is Lr1, Lr9, Lr15, Lr19, Lr23, Lr24, Lr25, Lr28, Lr29, Lr32, Lr39, Lr41, Lr42, Lr43, Lr45, Lr2a, Lr2b, Lr2c, Lr2d, Lr3, Lr10, Lr11, Lr12, Lr13, Lr14a, Lr14ab, Lr14b, Lr16, Lr17, Lr18, Lr20, Lr21, Lr22a, Lr22b, Lr26, Lr27+31, Lr30, Lr33, Lr34, Lr35, Lr36, Lr37, Lr38, Lr40, Lr44. Among the wheat cultivars, DL 784-3, DL 788-2, HD 2402, HD 4502, HD 4672, HI 1500, HP 1633, HUW 510, HW 1085, HW 2004, HW 2044, HW 2045, JWJ 17, Lok 45, MACS 2846, MP 4010, NW 1012, PBW 175 and UP 2425 showed resistance to this pathotype |
