Agronomic and malting quality phenotypes

The DH lines and parents were grown in nine environments; four locations in 1995 [Pullman, Washington (WA95), and Klamath Falls, Oregon (OR95), USA; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (SK95), and Brandon, Manitoba (MB95), Canada] and five locations in 1996 [Pullman, Washington (WA96); Pendleton, Oregon (OR96); and Aberdeen, Idaho (ID96), USA; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (SK96), and Brandon, Manitoba (MB96), Canada]. The cooperators were: Pullman, Washington (S. Ullrich); Brandon, Manitoba (W. Legge); Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (B. Rossnagel); Aberdeen, Idaho (D. Wesenberg); and Pendleton and Klamath Falls Oregon (P. Hayes).
