2005 National Fusarium Head Blight Forum

December 11-13, 2005
Hilton Milwaukee City Center
Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA

The 2005 National Fusarium Head Blight Forum will take place on Sunday,
December 11th through Tuesday, December 13th at the Hilton Milwaukee City
Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Forum is an integral component of the
U.S. Wheat & Barley Scab Initiative. Growers and grower group
representatives, millers and other food processors, consumers, and
scientists (public and private) are all urged to attend.

PROGRAM:

The Forum will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, and end around
12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13.  The recent re-structuring of the
USWBSI's research areas has resulted in a delay in the development of the
program sessions for the Forum.  Information will be posted on the web site
as the planning moves forward (Program should be finalized by
mid-September).  Please check back frequently for new information.

REGISTRATION:

On-line registration is now open.  The registration fee (US $115, US $145
after October 24) is handled in conjunction with the on-line registration
process (i.e. not through the hotel).  Advanced registration is REQUIRED.
The registration fee includes the following:

*       Forum materials including one copy of the Forum proceedings; and

*       Meals for the following days:

*       Sunday, 12/11 - Reception and Dinner

*       Monday, 12/12 - Breakfast and Lunch

Hilton Milwaukee City Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Participants
are responsible for making (and paying for) their own reservations directly
with the hotel using a credit card, and are guaranteed a special room rate
of $72.00+tax/night from December 8-15th.  This low room rate is based upon
the expectation that Forum participants will stay at this hotel.

To reserve a hotel room at the special rate, please

click here to make your reservations on-line.  Once you have opened the

you want to make the reservation under the 'NFHB Forum' group.  This will
ensure that your reservation is booked under our group with the special room
rate.

25th, the rooms that have been held for the Forum participants will be
released, and sold on a first come first serve basis.
