****FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT****
The 15th Biennial International Plant Resistance to Insects Workshop will be held at the Wyndam Baltimore Inner Harbor hotel in Baltimore, Maryland from February 24 to 27, 2002. On-site registration for the workshop will be available from 1:00 - 5:00 pm, Sunday, February 24 and will be followed by a mixer from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Workshop sessions will begin Monday, February 25 and conclude at noon, Wednesday, February 27, 2002. A second announcement will be sent out September 1, 2001 and will provide information regarding hotel registration, workshop pre-registration, and contributed poster or oral presentations.
There will be a graduate student presentation competition with cash awards. Individuals that wish to organize a session on a particular topic related to Plant Resistance to Insects are encouraged to contact the program chair as early as possible.
