Directions:

If you fly into Bozeman and have contacted the organizers with your itinerary, we will meet you at the airport.  If you drive, Bozeman is a pretty small town and it’s difficult to get lost.  The Ag Biosciences Building is attached to the North side of our greenhouse complex on 11th Street.

Room Reservations:

Several blocks of rooms have been reserved in nearby motels.  Please contact Tom Blake for details.

Special Services:

The faculty and students of the Plant Sciences and Plant Pathology Department look forward to your visit to scenic Bozeman, Montana.  Bozeman is 80 miles North of Yellowstone park, lying on the edge of the Rocky Mountains.  Excellent hiking, fishing and rafting should be available on this weekend.  If we can help make your visit memorable by arranging camping gear or showing you some of our favorite walks or fishing holes, just let us know.  Please feel free to contact blake@montana.edu to discuss your Montana visit.

Oral Presentation Guidelines:

Invited speakers are asked to present their presentations as Microsoft Powerpoint presentations.  Speakers are asked to bring their presentations on CDs.

 

Posters:

There will be a poster session during the meeting.  Posters are encouraged; however registered workshop participants will be limited to presenting one poster at the meeting.

 

Workshop Abstracts:

Abstracts are requested for all invited talks and poster presentations. All abstracts will be compiled into a booklet that will be distributed at the workshop. The deadline for abstract submission is April 25, 2004. Submit abstracts by email to Tom Blake (blake@montana.edu) in either a MS Word or RTF format. Please adhere to the following formatting guidelines when preparing abstracts:

 

Use US letter (8.5 x 11 inch) paper, single-spaced, single column, with 1 inch (2.54 cm) margins (top/bottom and sides). Using Times New Roman 12 point font, with abstract text left and right justified. The entire abstract and accompanying information must fit on one side of one page. Each submission should include:

 

1. Title (all capital letters and centered)

2. Authors (centered)

3. Organizational affiliation of authors, plus telephone and email address of corresponding author (centered)

4. Abstract
