Sheet 1: Introduction

Welcome!

This spreadsheet is to help you submit Sequence annotation data to the GrainGenes Database.

In the first column list the GenBank accession numbers of the Sequences. In the second column put whatever information you have to contribute. Then email the file to me, matthews@greengenes.cit.cornell.edu.

The results will be loaded into the GrainGenes Database record for each Sequence in a Remark field and attributed to you.

The current version of this spreadsheet is available at http://wheat.pw.usda.gov/ggpages/forms/Annotation.template.xls

(If you have only a few sequences to annotate, an alternate way that may be convenient is to click "Submit comment/correction" when viewing the Sequence record online, for example http://www.graingenes.org/cgi-bin/WebAce/webace?db=graingenes&class=Sequence&object=BG312289&text=yes.)
