The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Plant Science and Entomology
Research Unit, Manhattan, KS is seeking a permanent full-time PLANT
GENETICIST (GS-9/11) (Salary Range $40,454 - 63,629 Per Annum) to work on
molecular mapping and marker-assisted breeding of wheat. The primary
responsibilities will be the development of high-throughput DNA markers for
important wheat traits and the deployment of the molecular markers in hard
winter wheat cultivars for improvement of wheat quality and productivity.
