responsive genes, and transcription factors for the drought tolerance
in
soybean. Also, the post doctoral fellow will be responsible for the
evaluation of transgenic soybean plants using physiological,
biochemical
and functional genomics tools. Applicants should have a PhD in plant
molecular biology/biotechnology/biochemistry or a related discipline
reflecting strong background in plant molecular biology. The position
requires knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as molecular
cloning, vector construction, promoter analysis, transgenic analyses,
RT-PCR and plant transformation. Experience with gene regulation and
silencing, signal pathways, and biological databases is desirable.
