ROLE PURPOSE:The purpose of the Corn & Soybean assay development and validation role is to develop and validate new markers predictive of trait performance for variety and trait improvement projects. Assay development and validation performance is measured by the number of assays successfully transferred to the breeding and trait groups. Key parameters are timeliness of delivery and reliability assays.
