One Technical Assistant (Research Technician) Position in Genome Diversity in the research group Genome Diversity, Genebank Department for a period of 2 years, starting from May 2008. The candidate will be involved in ongoing international research programmes on Barley Genetic Diversity and Association Genetics based on high-throughput genotyping and large-scale phenotyping. Applicants should have an appropriate degree or technical school training in Molecular Biology or a related area. Ideal candidates should be motivated, dynamic, willing to learn new techniques and possess excellent organization and communication skills.
