Graduate Assistantship

A graduate research assistantship is available to conduct research on wheat genetics and genomics. The candidate will have opportunities to conduct research in genomic mapping, molecular cytogenetics, and/or genomics-assisted breeding. The candidate is expected to have a strong academic record in plant breeding, genetics, genomics, or related discipline and excellent written and oral communication skills. A candidate with demonstrated experience in bioinformatics and programming would be preferred. The assistantship provides an annual stipend of $21,000 plus tuition.
