Post-doctoral Research Associate-Kansas State University

The selected candidate will conduct independent research to clone a gene
that underlines disease resistance in wheat and genotype breeding
materials for marker-assisted selection.  Specific tasks include
genotypic and phenotypic assay of wheat disease resistance, molecular
marker screening of diverse germplasm and mapping populations, SNP and
candidate gene genotyping, and linkage and association mapping with
various populations. Create an environment that fosters diversity,
