The Journal of Agricultural Genomics (JAG) welcomes the submission of a full range of manuscript types that address issues in agricultural genomics. These can include but are not limited to original articles that report news, reviews, expository, and technical results from theoretical, experimental, and applied research. Manuscript Submission and Review A confidential site has been created at the National Center for Genome Resources (NCGR). Manuscripts may be submitted to the site via e-mail to JAG-L@ncgr.org. All electronic formats will be accepted. Note that technical editors may not have access to a full range embedded macros, so it will greatly enhance the review and publication processes if special macros are not used. Because JAG is an electronic journal, no particular layout of sections needs to be specified. However, in consideration of the reviewers and readers, all manuscripts will require an abstract. The abstract should be in html format, so that "hot links" to defined sections of the article can be built in a Web environment. Also, in consideration of our audience, pages within sections should be numbered consecutively. Upon submission, manuscripts will be e-mailed confidentially to JAG editors for review. The JAG editorial board is committed to providing reviews within three weeks. If accepted for publication, manuscripts will be posted for viewing to the genome community through www.ncgr.org/research/jag |
