Query deletion mapping loci information generated by the NSF EST Deletion Mapping Project.
The following features are available on this page:
- Perform string or exact match searches
This is controlled by the Query Type selection
- Search for mapped loci based on the Locus Info (Locus Name, Bin Name, Deletion Line(s), Mapper remarks) or Probe EST Info (EST Name, EST GenBank Accession, EST Best BLASTN/X result description)
This is controlled by the Query Target selection
- Restrict the search results based on the following:
- Chromosome/Arm
- Chromosome group
- Genome
- Mapping Lab code
- Mapper Review status
These are controlled by the Chromosome, Mapper Code, and Review Status selections
- Select the columns to view in the results table from the following: Locus Name, Chromosome, Bin Name, Line(s), Band size (southern), Probe EST links, Image Name, Feedback, Remark, BLASTN E-value, BLASTN Description, BLASTX E-value, BLASTX Description
- Locus Names are linked to the corresponding GrainGenes-Classic and GBrowse displays
- Chromosomes and Bins are linked to the corresponding GrainGenes-Classic displays
- Probe EST links to other relevant information for the EST
- The Image file name is linked to a view of the southern autorad image along with a table of the Mapped Loci represented on that image
- The Feedback column provides a link to view feedback information submitted by the mapping labs for the locus
- The Feedback column also provides a link to allow authorized mappers to submit or update feedback information for the locus
- Download search results as text, or obtain a sequence file in FASTA format for the relevant probe ESTs
