Random primer oligonucleotide labelling
Boil, then place on ice:
9.00 l DNA (not more than 200 ng)
1.25 l hexamers
Then add:
5.0 l HEPES buffer
5.0 l nucleotides [in 250 mM Tris (pH 8), 25 mM MgCl2, 50 mM
ß-mercaptoethanol]
1.0 l BSA (40 mg/ml)
0.5 l Klenow
5.0 l -32P CTP
Let reaction go at room temperature for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
