The USDA ARS Western Wheat & Pulse Quality Lab anticipates recruiting two postdoctoral fellows to work at the interface of wheat and/or pulse grain end-use quality, genetics, and food science. The genetic basis for superior quality phenotypes will be emphasized. Opportunities in oat, triticale and rye improvement are also available. Results will be applied to breeding new cultivars for farmers, processors, and food manufacturers. Research outcomes will be documented in peer-reviewed papers.
