McFadden Symposium and Hard Winter Wheat Workers Workshop in Manhattan, Kansas

Dear Colleagues:

You are cordially invited to the 2020 Joint Edgar McFadden Symposium/Hard Winter Wheat Workers Workshop to be held May 18-20, 2020 in Manhattan, KS hosted by the Kansas Wheat Commission and Hard Winter Wheat Workers.

The program will include a Monday evening reception and poster session, and a presentation by Kevin Kephart on the legacy of Edgar McFadden and Cecil Salmon. Tuesday’s program will include the McFadden symposium and Hard Winter Wheat Worker’s meeting. Wednesday morning, we will tour the USDA-ARS Stripe Rust Evaluation Nursery at Rossville, located approximately 40 miles east of Manhattan.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn at the Campus. The Tuesday symposium will take place at the K-State Alumni Center located a short walk from the hotel.
