Phenotype
In DH lines derived from an Igri x Triumph cross, increased flowering time (days to heading) 3.6d in autumn-sown plants and 3.1d in spring-sown plants (1).
Confers a prostrate juvenile growth habit, later ear emergence time (heading date) and reduced plant height. It also gives smaller grains and tends to be associated with lower malting quality, though many malting varieties have the gene.
Property
Recessive
