Remarks
A consensus map of hexaploid wheat.
The base map was constructed using an F2 population of 120 plants from Chinese Spring x Synthetic. Loci actually mapped in this population are indicated with the tag 'Well_ordered'. For other loci the relative map position was extrapolated from knowledge of chromosome arm locations from nullitetrasomic or ditelosomic analysis or from locations in other wheat, barley or rye populations.
Distances (in cM) on the A, B and D genome maps were meaned for purposes of alignment, but the gene orders were not compromised.
In August 2001, fifty new microsatellite loci were added to the maps.
Locus
alpha-Amy-2-7A
