GrainGenes Probe Report: FBA102

[Submit comment/correction] [What is a probe?]Probes originated as records of the single stranded molecules used in RFLP mapping. This term has expanded to include PCR primers and SNPs.

Genoble polymorphism scores
Polymorphism scores are given as the percent polymorphic pairwise comparisons,
followed by the number of patterns found and the number of varieties tested in
parentheses. The wheat varieties used to estimate this PIC value are :
Courtot, Capelle, Magnif27, Prinqual, Rex, Apollo, Pernel, Thesee, Eureka,
Renan, Bezostaia, RE607, RE714, RE813"

Genoble Clone Request
The <<Centre Distributeur>> of the INRA (Institut National de la Recherche
Agronomique) Plant Breeding Station at Clermont-Ferrand acts as the only
channel for the distribution of the Genoble clones developed through the
Genoble programme Phase I (1992-1995).
An article between INRA, the University of Paris-Sud, The University of
Clermont-Ferrand, the GNIS and 14 French private compagnies - Club GIS Genoble,
gives first priority of the use of the Genoble clones to the Club GIS Genoble.

Nevertheless, such Genoble clones are made available for academic research.
The Genoble clones can be distributed, with the agreement of the Genoble Club,
to non-profit, scientific organizations and will be supplied to you if you and
your direct administrator agree, in writing, to the following terms :

1. The Genoble clones will be used only for the research purpose outlined,
2. The Genoble clones cannot be used in research for commercial parties or
   otherwise for commercial purposes,
3. The Genoble clones cannot be made available to any third party, you cannot
   distribute them,
4. Reciprocal exchange of information concerning the use of the Genoble clones
   is expected,
5. Publications involving unpublished Genoble clones is regarded as
collaborative research and may justify coauthorship with the
<<Centre Distributeur>> and the laboratory of Dr F. Quetier.
6. The <<Centre Distributeur>> and the laboratory of Dr F. Quetier request
acknowledgment in all publications involving the Genoble clones that the
   <<Centre Distributeur>> provided.

If these terms are acceptable to you, you should send your request (clone list)
and a brief description of the purpose for which you wish to use the Genoble
clones to the following address to receive the order form :

Monsieur Herve HASLE
83, Avenue de la Grande-Armee
75 782 PARIS Cedex 16
    FAX : +33 1 40 67 98 67

On receipt of a completed and signed order form from you and the authorization
of the Genoble Club, the <<Centre Distributeur>> shall forward the list of
Genoble clones requested.
