Protocol
Inoculation was done with the 'cut-spike test' where spikes from each RI line were harvested at anthesis and spray-inoculated with a fresh conidial suspension (2x10^5 per ml) with 50ml per tray containing 240-300 sPikes. After eight days florets were scored. The experiment was done in triplicate

0-10, with a 0 score for 0% infection (resistant) and 10 to indicate >60% infection (susceptible)
