Acrotrisomic plants 4S4L (Tsuchiya and Hang, 1980) were crossed with four genetic marker stocks. The results of F2 data are shown in Table 1.

According to the recent linkage map, the order of 3 genes in the long arm of chromosome 4 (4L) is centromere (C) - lg 4 - br 2 - gl 3, and the gene f9 for chlorina is located on the short arm (4S).

The results shown in Table 1 suggest that the breakage has occurred between lg 4 and br 2 in the long arm of chromosome 4.

The breakage point in 4 L will be measured with the aid of Giemsa banding technique.
