Three marker genes nld (narrow leafed dwarf), f6 (chlorina) and r smooth awn) were used in telotrisomic analysis with Triplo 7S. Crosses were made between telotrisomic 7S and marker stocks. The segregation ratios were observed in the F2 generation (Table 1).

All these genes showed disomic ratio in F2 generation suggesting their association with the long arm of chromosome 7 (7L). In linkage map (Tsuchiya, 1972; Takahashi and Fukuyama, 1978) the gene nld was located at the distal segment of chromosome 7 based on the data presented by Takahashi et al. (1971). However, the result of this study suggested that this gene is not located on the short arm.
