Inheritance:
Recessive to normal (6).
Located on chromosome 7 L ; not far from the centromere (8, 15).
Description:
Florets with five anthers; two from transformed lodiculae (6).
Thin, angular grain with visible aleurone and awns with a wide base.
Spike internodes about 13% longer than normal. Plants with a tufty growth habit caused by the oblique angl-e of their tillers (13).
Origin of mutant:
1954 after resting Bonus seed treated with 6,290rad y-rays.

Mutant used for description and seed stock:
