I.6. Barley Genetics Literature

The third review of barley genetic literature "Cytology and Genetics of Barley, 1963-1972" is underway. Please send reprints or even titles of appropriate articles and titles and summaries of appropriate doctoral and master theses published since 1962 or not included in "Cytology and Genetics of Barley, 1951-1962" to R. A. Nilan, Program in Genetics, Washington State University, Pullman, Washington, 99163, U.S.A.

Only fifty copies of "Cytology and Genetics of Barley, 1951-1962" by R. A. Nilan remain. A copy can be purchased for $4 from the Washington State University Press, Pullman, Washington. If it is determined that a significant future demand for this review exists, then a reprinting may be considered.

Copies of "Cytology and Genetics of Barley" (Botanical Review 17, 1951) by Luther Smith are still available and can be obtained free of charge from R. A. Nilan.

"Barley Genetics II", the Proceedings of the Second International Barley Genetics Symposium, published in 1971 and containing 69 papers (622 pages), can be purchased from the Washington State University Press for $20.

"Barley Genetics I", the Proceedings of the First International Barley Genetics Symposium, can still be purchased from Pudoc Centre for Agricultural Publications and Documentations, Wageningen, The Netherlands.
