Coordinator's Report: The genetic male sterile barley collection.

There were two requests for samples of the MS stock collection. The
collection is being maintained in cold storage at -40 C. In light of the few
number of requests for seed, the lines will be regenerated infrequently. All
accessions are back-crossed F1s. To the best knowledge of the coordinator,
there are no new publications dealing with genic male sterility in barley.
Interested individuals are encouraged to submit publications, findings, or
other interesting material to the coordinator or directly to BGN.
