VI.1. Supplemental list of genetic stocks for individual chromosomes.

Genetic stocks having BGS number was published in BGN Vol. 3, p. 104-109. There are many genes mapped in individual chromosomes. BGS numbers have not been assigned for many of the stocks for these genes because no description has been prepared yet for these stocks. Despite this, barley workers have been using these stocks. It would be, therefore, convenient for many barley workers to have the list of genetic stocks for various genes mapped or designated to individual chromosomes. A supplemental list of genetic stocks for individual chromosomes is given in Table 1.

The overall coordinator asks the coordinator for each chromosome and specific materials to prepare "Description of Genetic Stocks" for those without BGS number and description. Coordinators for erectoides and eceriferum and other newly induced mutants are requested to prepare a description for the mutants in each locus. Please refer to the previous issues of BGN for the format.

An alphabetical list of the genetic stocks and revised version of description of genetic stocks will be published in the next issue, Vol. 5.

The overall coordinator also asks each coordinator to develop multiple marker stocks in various combinations and publish the lists in BGN.

There were many errors in the errata published in BGN 3, p. 104 for genetic stocks. Therefore, the corrected version of the "errata" is given below:
