Topics of interest to consumers of grains

    Gluten intolerance and Celiac disease

As part of the GrainGenes project role in answering some questions from the community, a number of questions were directed toward grains and their relationship to Celiac disease. A local authority on the topic, Don Kasarda, located at the USDA-ARS Western Regional Research Center, Albany, CA was able to shed some light on this topic and has subsequently published and presented further on the topic. The original series of questions and responses can be seen in the following link.
