GrainGenes-SQL Query Resources
The GrainGenes-SQL database is a relational database of Triticeae EST information implemented using the MySQL relational database management system. It is a component of the GrainGenes collection of Triticeae query resources. The following web pages allow for simple searching and downloading of information relevant to the ESTs, including BLAST results, contig data, deletion mapping data, and raw sequence data. Links to other GrainGenes-SQL pages, GrainGenes-Classic pages, and other databases are provided wherever relevant.
Query EST Data
- EST BLAST Hits -
Query BLASTN and BLASTX data based on the description of the hit or the EST name/accession number.
- EST Libraries -
Query cDNA Library information based on library information or EST name/accession number.
- EST FASTA sequences -
Obtain FASTA sequences from a list of EST names or accession numbers.
- EST Link generator -
Query ESTs by name or accession number to generate links to all relevant information (including tracefiles).
Query Contig Assembly Data
- Contigs -
Query contigs based on contig name or EST member name.
- Contig BLAST Hits -
Query BLASTN and BLASTX data based on the description of the hit, the Contig name, or EST member names.
- Contig FASTA sequences -
Obtain FASTA sequences from a list of Contig names.
Query Deletion Mapping Data
- Mapped Loci -
Query deletion mapping loci information based on the probe (EST), Locus name, Bin name, and other parameters.
- Mapping Probes -
Query deletion mapping probe information based on the probe (EST) name or accession number, or the mapping plate number.
SQL queries -
Browse the structure of the GrainGenes-SQL database (db: west) and query it using raw SQL commands.
