and the new Ag Microbes Genome I meeting will be held the week of
January 9 in San Diego, CA. Details of the meeting and the complete

- January 9, 2000: The Abiotic Stress Workshop
The Abiotic Stress Workshop will be held on Sunday (3:00-5:30 PM), January
9, 2000 during the Plant and Animal Genome VIII Program in San Diego, CA.
This is to invite you to particiapate in this workshop. Please let me know
if you are interested in presenting your results related to QTL/gene
mapping, comparive genetic analysis, functional genomic approach,
marker-assisted selection or genetic dissection of novel gene
families/pathways for stress tolerance. I will make every attempt to
include a spectrum of topics and international speakers. Unfortunately we
do not have fund to support travel for workshop speakers.
